Welcome to my blog! First of all, I just would like to thank you for stopping by to check out my website. Every article on this website is either dedicated to my journey towards Sweden, or my passion for cooking. Let’s get to know each other a little bit better. I’m Bastiaan Franssen (you probably figured that out already), I’m 25 years old and at this moment I’m living in a small town called Maastricht in the province of Limburg (The Netherlands).
I’m an enthusiastic mountainbiker, runner and weightlifter (although I’m not sure that’s legitimate job). One of the things I do most is traveling. I just love it, and it made it possible for me to see lots of different countries, cultures and habits all over the world. These habits and cultures inspired me to experiment a lot in the last “most-favorite” thing I do: cooking! As you can see the Italian kitchen is the cuisine I’m working in the most. But I’m practically in love with every cuisine from around the world.
Besides those “top-hobbies” I have a special interest in writing. Probably that’s why I started this weblog. On this website you will find everything about my passion, hobbies, the journey’s I take and all the other things crossing my mind.
If you want to get to know me a little bit better, you can find more information about me on the special About me page. If you want to have some information about studying abroad, traveling, the cuisines I’m blogging about, or you just want to get in touch with me, hit me up on twitter via @bmanfranssen, or find another way to get in touch with me via the Contact page. Don’t hesitate to write me in Dutch, English, German, Swedish, Italian or Spanish. This website is written in English and the posts are in Dutch, but next to them I’m talking those other languages fluently.
